A little boy sneaks to a neighbor's garage to cuddle a dog

Hollie Breaux Mallet, a woman from Louisiana, was recently looking over security camera footage at home when she noticed a little boy sneaking into her garage.

The young boy was seen riding his bike past her house before jumping off, running into the garage to play with and cuddle her pet dog Duchess, and then running back out and heading home.

Touched by the love the boy had for her pet, Ms Mallet took to Facebook to see if she could identify the boy... and it didn't take long before she found him.

New friends: The young boy was seen riding his bike past her house before jumping off  and running into the garage to play with and cuddle her pet dog Duchess

'Attn Neighbors! Anyone know who this sweet little boy is? Every now and then when he rides his bike he will quickly come and love on my dog or play fetch real quick, but always leaves quick like he doesn't know if he should be here!' She wrote.

'I'd like to tell him he's welcome to stay and play, she loves the attention!'

She shared the security footage alongside the post, which has since been viewed over 1.3 million times.

Quick! The little boy would then run off so nobody saw him

Within 24 hours, the little boy's mother, Ginger Clement Breaux, posted on the video and confirmed the boy in the footage was her son Josh.

'Thanks for the add Hollie! Josh talks about your dog all the time! Every time we pass he looks to see if she was sitting where he could see her. Just didn't know he was doing things like this,' Ms Breaux wrote.

'Last night when I first saw it, I was torn as a momma being happy and upset because he knows he shouldn't be on someone's property, but I wake up this morning more happy that he just absolutely adores dogs so much.'

'He turned ten shades of red': Within 24 hours, the little boy's mother, Ginger Clement Breaux, posted on the video and confirmed the boy in the footage was her son Josh

Ms Mallet was overjoyed to find out who the young boy was and said she hoped he would continue to play with Duchess.

'So glad to see that innocence and love was caught on camera instead of what they are normally used for. Can't believe all the views this post has received, so glad to have captured this sweetness!' She wrote.

Ms Breaux said her son 'turned ten shades of red' when she showed him the video but 'had a big smile after and said "you know I love dogs momma".'

She then posted two selfies Josh had snapped with his new friend Duchess.

'We had our dog Bella since Josh was 2, but she passed away last year': A number of people questioned why Josh didn't have a dog, but Ms Breaux soon addressed the queries

A number of people questioned why Josh didn't have a dog, but Ms Breaux soon addressed the queries.

'I figured I would comment this on here since a lot of people are asking... currently we do not have a dog,' she wrote.

'We had our dog Bella since Josh was 2, but she passed away last year. Things have been busy and Josh is active with after school activities so we have not jumped back into taking on the responsibility of starting all over again with a new pup quite yet. It will happen though!'

The post has been shared over 10,000 times, with thousands thanking Ms Mallet for sharing the heartwarming footage with the world.
