This baby panda faceplanting at its official unveiling is all of us
Yesterday, some new baby Giant Pandas were unveiled to the world.
The panda cubs were all born at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, in southwest China. There are 23 of them – and the group includes 10 sets of twins.
Anyway, back to their first public engagement.
Not much happened. Mostly the babies, who are all aged between one and four months, just lay snoozing on their bright green presentation platform.
But, one adventurer decided to liven things up a little. Maybe it was trying to get away from all that vivid green.
Pictures of the ambitious little panda trying – and failing miserably – to escape the photocall were shared by Twitter user @adamnails last night and have now been retweeted over 24,000 times.
